Music was my first love and will be my last. There are so many things you can’t say with words but with music. Putting all your emotions in a mixtape is like writing a letter to yourself and the world. It helps you to understand what you can’t say or won’t say. It’s pure and honest and I believe it’s timeless. Music will survive everything, it will survive you.
There’s nothing more powerful than understanding life through that aesthetic expression of beauty. It’s the most inspiring thing ever. You can therapy yourself with creating your own little world of sounds. I’ve been building mixtapes for a very long time now and it always helped me through different stages of life. To see my own life from all perspectives, from all the emotional angles I can reach with my heart and soul.
They helped me to understand who I am and who I want to be. Where I came from and where I want to go. It’s my way to say thank you to art and poetry. To say thank you to life in general. Because nothing can make you feel more, nothing can move you more, nothing can make you wiser and stronger at the same time. It’s all in the music.
